Master Class Workshop
w/ Jenny Redford

This will be a half master class and half workshop focused on deepening our practice as instructors. We will explore how that can enhance our experience with our clients. During a time where deviating from pure Pilates is ramped, this workshop will help you define how to keep the integrity of the method yet not lose creativity. This workshop is for instructors only.
Jenny was introduced to Pilates through her ballet training with Boston Ballet School and American Ballet Theatre in New York City and was immediately drawn to to the fluid, purposeful movement and the connection of mind and body. She seeks to promote intuitive movement that challenges the body and offer a fresh voice and perspective. PostPartum Fitness– A Pilates & PT Workshop
w/ Jessica Valant
Sat. March 4, 2017 – 1:00p-7:00p
In this 6 hour workshop, you will learn everything you need to create a safe and effective exercise program for women after giving birth. We will discuss the anatomical and physiological aspects that makes this clientele so unique, as well as postural changes that occur during this time. We will move into a discussion on pelvic floor dysfunction and rectus diastasis, and how to test for these and address them appropriately. Finally, we will go through a specific, Pilates-based mat and reformer exercise program for women up to 20 weeks after giving birth. If you see prenatal and postpartum women in your practice, this workshop is a must!
