CONNECT

Join us the First Sunday every other month for the CONNECT series!

CONNECT will help you build the strong foundation within your body to support movement. Understand neutral vs. imprint, work on your pelvic floor and the relationship to breathwork and explore articulation.

With the use of the reformer and props, we'll explore foundational support and connection that we can apply to our practice.

Starting This February, every other month will focus on specific movement and technique to get more from your personal pilates practice and understand how to connect to your body

February 4th - Focus on supine breath, posture, and pelvic floor; transversus abdominis and pelvic stability.

Connect to a foundation of breath and stability while supine. Better understand the relationship between your diaphragm and pelvic floor, and build a stronger connection to your deep abdominals.

April 7th - Create length within rotation and lateral movement.

Build and understanding of how to utilize breath to create length and maximize connection through rotation and lateral movement.

June 2nd- Harness your breath and correct posture on your stomach, back, & side.

Utilize breath to create length and support while finding neutral spine during supine, prone, and side lying activity.

August 4th- Work on Balance through foot and ankle connection.

Gain a better understanding of how to use your feet and ankles to support you during movement. Build a connection to your toes, feet, and ankles during supine and side lying activity.

October 6th- Deepen abdominal connection in flexion and articulation.

Utilizing breath to create length and deepen abdominal support during flexion and articulation.

INTEGRATE

“The Body Process is the MOST INCLUSIVE, the most adorable and beautiful space to practice pilates. The instructors are knowledgeable! I have been practicing what I thought was pilates for years, but boy was I wrong! Shoutout to Danielle P and Magen! This is woman-owned and I love the studio. I like a mix of taking privates and classes. I'm a loyal fan, forever!”
